The Chester County Chapter of A.B.A.T.E. of PA will have a Bike Run to benefit the Canine Partners For Life on Saturday September 11 2010 and will be meeting at the Full Throttle Grill located at 40 Route 41 Gap PA at 11:00 am and departing for the ride at 12:00 noon for a 50 mile ride through the country and ending at the Canine Partners For Life 334 Faggs Manor Road Cochranville , PA 19330 for food beverage and demonstrations along with other fun happenings including Cow Bingo at 3:15 PM - you buy a square on the field for a $10 donation and when they turn the Cow loose if she takes a dump on your square first you win $5,000.00 dollars Cash. If you ride come ride with us for $5 per person if you done ride go the the Canine Partners For Life Open House and take the kids for a fun filled day of hayrides , puppy kissing booth, face painting , toors , vendors and more.

Re: September 2010 issue of Between the Lines
Saturday July 31, 2010 a group of Chester County Chapter members join together for a nice ride to the District 9 Summer Sizzler Party in Kintersville, PA the food was good the weather was beautiful , we listened to some excellent music had bike games and a good time was had by all. I’m not sure how many were in attendance but I think it was close to 75 or 80 total. Chester County had 21 members attend but I think there could have been many more members from all chapters there to show their support for our District Event. Due to the lack of attendance I would like to suggest that every chapter in District 9 Donate $100 to help cover the cost of putting on such a good party. Frank and the other District Reps probably would not ask for this but I know how much hard work and money goes into an event and to not have very many people show up does nothing more than take away from the District Treasury
Make sure you make the September meeting and keep in mind the this is the time for nomination for Chapter Officers . Mike Donohoe was nominated for Chapter Coordinator -
Tim Killinger was nominated for Asst, Coordinator – Cyndi Sable was nominated for Secretary –Pat Carnevale will stay on as the Legislative coordinator- and Denise Russell has Declined to run for Treasurer so anyone interested should come to the next meeting . You must be present to accept the nominations!
By the time you get this News Letter the Scroggy Bottom Bash will be another event that took place with thanks to the many chapter members who help to get the property ready.
